Special credits to Wasaa Architects and Associates for designing this absolutely stunning home.

Entering From The Main Gate — The Grand Facade

The compelling facade of this Corner Terrace house features a suspended roof terrace held by a cantilever covered with Chengai wood ceiling, while the custom cement feature wall at the far end exudes contemporary vibes. The overall look is complemented by the growth of stunning greenery at the front of the glass-front terrace.

Level One

Walking inside, a beautiful foyer awaits you. A wooden Slatwall in the front is complemented with a Monstera Thai Constellation plant, while airy linen drapes towards the side block direct sunlight while still allowing the interior to be naturally illuminated.

Towards the other side is a living space featuring a comfortable seating area and minimalist entertainment complex. The marble-top coffee table in the center adds the luxe factor, while the rug laid underneath is an integral part of open-floor spaces, helping delineate distinct areas.

The marble effect is further extended toward the kitchen island. A black integrated sink adds a touch of luxury.

The mini bar at the back features a quartz top and showcases a range of wine glasses, while the accent lighting installed around its edges enhances the look of the space. Fun fact: the 80-bottle Liberbherr Bordeaux beechwood wine fridge has been imported, while the steamer and microwave are from Miele.

Finally, a sleek overhead rod chandelier adds the perfect modern touch.

Moving forward, there is room for a dining table — we love round for the cozy vibe it gives off! Right beside is hidden bar cabinetry; you can shut the doors and no one would ever know there’s storage behind it! *wink*

Moving ahead, there’s a Granny room and bathroom, followed by a washing area and a professional-grade kitchen setup at the back.

In the center of the space is a floating staircase, where the ceiling goes as high as 6 meters. Also known as a cantilever staircase, it creates a light and airy impression. Fun fact: Despite its minimalist design, floating treads have plenty of engineering involved in their manufacturing and installation. They seem to “float”, but in reality, they require a strong support system!

Let’s walk up the stairs to see what we have at level two.

Level Two

That was a nice climb on the floating staircase! Let’s see what the second floor has in store.

Walking towards the left, you find the master bedroom. A spacious area with a wooden Slatwall, this room is perfect for two. It has a huge wall dedicated to glass windows, allowing plenty of natural light to enter. However, the windows are double-glazed to ensure the space remains sound-proofed.

You can also find a ‘Jack & Jill’ bathroom with a bathtub and shower point here.

Outside the window is a beautiful roof terrace overlooking the garage. There’s room to place outdoor furniture and enjoy a mug of coffee with your loved ones — or simply sit back and enjoy the stunning views.

Towards the other end is a junior master bedroom ideal for two kids. It opens up to a study, where you can place two computer tables, a bookcase, and anything else your children require.

In the center of this floor is a family area — you can furnish this with a fun seating area for your family. The wooden floor and teak-laced ceiling create a natural, outdoorsy touch and add the perfect hint of coziness.

From here, we climb up the staircase towards level 3 which is the entertainment area which could potentially converted into another bedroom.

Level 3 - Entertainment Area

The attic, serving as level three of the house, features an entertainment area and bathroom. The large windows, paired with airy drapes, ensure maximum light can enter the space while providing privacy.

This massive open space can be furnished with sofas and an entertainment complex to spend quality time with loved ones. Alternatively, you can use it as a conventional attic to store extra items. And if you’re short on space, you can always use this floor to build more rooms!

Attached to the attic is a roof terrace exposed to the sky. You can place a dining table here and enjoy dinner under the stars on warm summer nights — experiences you’ll cherish for a lifetime!

The Roof

On top of the attic is a roof. Here, solar panels have been installed to harness energy from the sun and meet the energy requirements of your family. Remember, solar panels give you free electricity!

These solar panels are perfectly suited to the tropical climate of Singapore, ensuring you can leverage sunny days and utilize them to meet your energy needs. The panels come with a 25-year warranty, so you wouldn’t need to worry about having to replace them out of pocket.

The Backyard

The backyard of this house is the perfect haven for summer afternoons. It has a stainless steel restaurant-grade kitchen with appliance fittings all in place. You can also find an induction hob, gas hob, and wall-hung extractor hood, all from Brandt.

As such, you can expect to soak up the summer sun during the daytime and cook delicious meals with beautiful sunset views during the evening!

The Architecture & Floor Plan

The building and architecture of this beautiful Corner Terrace is designed to fulfill both utilitarian and aesthetic needs. As such, it is ideal for a young and well-heeled family looking for their dream Singaporean home!
